So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Security
Active Directory provides features that improve security. Active Directory provides support for single sign-on. Integration is possible with Active Directory and Windows 2000's support for Kerberos, an industry standard for authentication.
Active Directory has an impact on public key infrastructure (PKI) . With Active Directory as part of Windows 2000, the PKI capability is integrated into Active Directory. Active Directory provides the capability to mirror and replicate certificate information. Smart cards are able to hold certificates and are able to take advantage of Active Directory's PKI support.
