Active Directory provides the mechanism for administering a large enterprise and establishes unique administrative requirements throughout the organization. The capability to establish multiple contexts for administration is inherent in the design of Active Directory. By establishing a variety of OUs, an organization can create the group policies, security groups, and administrative tools to permit specific administrative capabilities.
