It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The desktop management features included with Windows 2000 represent an exciting new dimension to the product. Never before has desktop management been so tightly integrated in a single suite of client and server operating systems. The opportunity to closely manage the desktop from an enterprise level is very achievable. With proper planning and lab testing, Windows 2000 reduces the cost of desktop ownership by managing what users can and cannot do and by simplifying application and operating system deployment.
