So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Testing the Script
This script can be easy to test. You need to create a working OU with a single user in it to begin. You can simplify this script even further by modifying only the telephone number. You are able point the script to the test tree by modifying the following line to point to the new point in the tree:
Set oDomain=GetObject("LDAP://OU=GPLAB,DC=w2k,DC=Wadeware,DC=net")
After you have made the changes to the script, the next step is to run some tests. You can do this by changing the phone number and by using the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC snap-in to validate the changes.
