Electronic mail, or email as it is more commonly known, is one of

the fundamental services on the Internet. Mac OS X Server includes a

feature-rich email service that you can use to send, receive, and store

email for your organization. Aside from the obvious reason of hosting

an email server to gain an Internet identity, there are a number of

other reasons that make hosting your own mail service advantageous.
