I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
After the image is created, you must enable it. We’ll do that in the next section.
Filtering NetBoot Clients
The NetBoot Filters pane permits you to allow or deny access to NetBoot services based
on the client computer’s hardware, or MAC, address. Once you enter a list of hardware
addresses, you can either limit NetBoot access to just the listed computers or prevent the
listed computers from using NetBoot (and allow all others to use it). This allows NetBoot
and non-NetBoot clients to coexist in harmony. Filtering removes the risk of allowing
non-NetBoot clients to access unlicensed applications or to accidentally perform a net-
work installation.
