Adding a floor and back wall
It is now time to add another part of your scene, so that we can start rendering with Eevee. If you plan to create a scene where the objects will cast shadows, you need a surface to receive shadows. Using just a floating chair in a 3D landscape will give us only a limited capability to show shadows.
For that reason, we will add a floor and a back wall to the scene.
Make sure you are in Object Mode and then press the Shift + A key. Choose the Plane option in the Mesh group. Using this option will add a plane to your scene.
With the plane selected, move the object until it is below your chair. Don't worry if it doesn't stay precisely below. We will fix that later. The plane will probably require a scale transformation. ...
