So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Effects and options for Eevee
Besides having the benefit of showing real-time materials and lights in your 3D View, Eevee will also offer a variety of options for effects. One of these effects is already in use for our materials; that is, the Screen Space Reflections effect, as shown in the following screenshot:
These effects will help you create a more compelling image in real time, and will also boost realism in many cases. For instance, you can turn on Ambient Occlusion to generate contact shadows for objects.
All effects in the following list will only work for Blender Eevee.
