So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Shadow quality
At the bottom of the Object Data tab, you will see essential settings for shadows, as shown in the following screenshot. The first group of options give you the ability to enable or disable shadows with a Shadow group. By default, this option will always start enabled.
In the second group, you will find Contact shadows, which will create an additional shadow below your objects. A contact shadow will only appear when two surfaces are close to each other. Use this option to increase realism in your projects:
