Transparency for materials
Another type of property for materials that you will probably want to use in your projects is transparency. How do we create transparent materials? Before we go further, showing shaders for transparent materials, it is important to state something about transparency.
At the moment, Eevee won't display real-time transparency on your 3D View. You will have to swap renders to Cycles.
To change your render, you can go to the Render panel and in the Render Engine choose Cycles, as shown in the following screenshot:
