What this indicates is that what we believe will determine how we think about any experiences we have. And what we think about them will determine how we then feel (our morale) about them. What we feel about them will have a massive influence on how we then behave. And how we behave will obviously influence our results (performance and/or outcomes).
I think this explains why so many training programmes fail to achieve the desired long-term results. Many provide a short-term improvement, but these improvements often prove to be no more than a transient blip ...
