Wake-up time
If a device has an amazingly low shutdown current, but takes an abnormally long time to wakeup and get itself into a usable running state, it might not be the best choice for an application that requires fairly frequent wake-ups, since significant time will be spent getting the system up and running instead of getting it to perform the necessary processing and then going back to sleep.
