Converting ST-Link to J-Link
Follow these steps to upload J-Link firmware to the ST-Link on the Nucleo development board:
- Plug in a micro USB cable to CN1 on the Nucleo board and attach it to your Windows PC.
- Open STLinkReflash_<version>.exe.
- Read through and accept the two license agreements.
- Select the first option: Upgrade to J-Link.
The debugging hardware on the Nucleo board is now effectively a SEGGER J-Link!
Now that a J-Link is present, we will be able to use other SEGGER software tools, such as Ozone and SystemView, to debug and visualize our applications.
