While all of these features sound incredible in theory, developers have had mixed feelings regarding CubeMX and its use in real-world applications. Most of these concerns and trade-offs involve how the tool fits into a workflow; other times, the challenges stem from usability issues.
From a usability standpoint, CubeMX generally works well; other times, it generates invalid code that simply won't work as intended. This seems to have been more of an issue when it was first released. Occasionally, versions would ship that would create projects that didn't even compile.
