I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Publishing and testing your changes
As we have made changes to the Lambda function through the console, the changes are saved, but they are not live. For the changes made to the Lambda function to be live, you need to publish them. I'm going to cover in detail how you can deploy your AWS serverless application in the following chapters. For now, let's look at how we can do this using the AWS Lambda console:
Once you have saved your changes to your Lambda function, from the Actions dropdown, select Publish new version:
