I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Amazon Simple Notification Service
Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) is a fully managed pub/sub (https://aws.amazon.com/pub-sub-messaging/) messaging and mobile notification service, that coordinates the delivery of messages to subscribers. With SNS, you can send messages to a wide variety of subscribers, including services such as AWS Lambda, along with distributed systems and mobile devices. You can learn more about Amazon SNS at https://aws.amazon.com/sns/.
You can invoke one or more AWS Lambda functions to process Amazon SNS notifications. When a message is published to an Amazon SNS topic, the message is sent to the AWS Lambda function as a payload parameter, as can be seen in the following screenshot:
