Azure has two offerings in this space for serverless applications.

Azure Stream Analytics (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/stream-analytics/) is an offering from Microsoft Azure that provides you with a service for real-time streaming data. It also has an interface where you can write SQL queries and only pay for what is used from the service. Events Hub (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/event-hubs/) is a managed service from Microsoft Azure that helps with mass ingestion of small data sets, which typically are generated from sensors and devices. It helps in processing, routing, and storing data generated by these devices.
