When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Windows
Here are the installation instructions on Windows for Azure Functions Core tools:
- Install the .NET Core 2.0 runtime for Windows; installation instructions are available at https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/windows.
- If your Windows installation doesn't already have Node.js (https://docs.npmjs.com/getting-started/installing-node#osx-or-windows) with npm, please install at least Node.js 8.5 or above, as those are the only versions that work with the Azure Functions 2.x runtime.

Once the .Net 2.0 runtime for Windows and Node.js with npm are installed, then you can install Azure Functions Core Tools using the following command in your Windows Command prompt:
npm install -g azure-functions-core-tools@core
