As I describe later in this chapter, iPhoto’s facial smarts extend beyond the Faces feature. When positioning photos in slide shows, iPhoto looks for faces and tries to position a photo so that faces aren’t cut off. Similarly, in iPhoto’s edit view, the red-eye removal feature as well as some color controls are smart enough to detect faces.
The bottom line: whether you’re organizing, enhancing, or sharing photos, iPhoto knows a face when it sees one.
