Maybe you’d like to create a smart album that collects photos created in a region, such as the San Francisco Bay Area or greater Paris. The technique at right won’t do the job—if you specify San Francisco, iPhoto won’t find photos taken in Sausalito.
Here’s where map view helps.
Step 1. Use the map in Places to zoom and pan so that the region whose photos you want are visible.
