It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Android Strengths
Android has some specific advantages that make it a desirable operating system to write programs for. Because it is the world’s most popular mobile operating system, app developers have the potential to reach a wide audience for their applications.
Android apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store (see Figure 1.8). The web-based storefront and Play Store app on Android devices ensure that your application has wide visibility.
