The List Block

In App Inventor, we will be using the blocks in the Lists menu (see Figure 6.1). For reference, an entire list of the different list blocks is located on the App Inventor support site.

You can expand or shrink some of the list blocks by clicking the gear in the upper-left corner (refer to Figure 6.1). This enables you to add smaller blocks to the larger block (see Figure 6.2).
