It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7. Games and Animations
Games are one of the most popular genres of mobile apps. MIT App Inventor offers many features that enable a user to create some powerful games, including Pong clones, whack-a-mole games, and a large variety of other game types.
Many of the animation elements that are used in games can also be used for other kinds of apps. This chapter explores these elements in depth, culminating with the step-by-step creation of a golf game. After completing this task, you should have a good foundation for what you can achieve with these components and blocks.
