It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
List v3 Rendering
After enabling the List v3 plugin, you may expect all lists to render in List v3 by default. However, you can avoid a great deal of troubleshooting and effort embedded lists, list reports, some related lists, and any hierarchical lists will be shown in List v2 by default, as they don't support List v3.
