So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

About the Author
Rob Griffiths dove into Mac OS X with the public beta version in 2001, despite an innate fear of Unix and no understanding of the command line. Shortly thereafter, tired of searching the Net for the same answers to the same questions and looking for a way to force his Unix learning skills forward, he launched MacOSXhints.com, a site dedicated to tips and tricks on all things Mac OS X-related. Since then, MacOSXhints.com has amassed a searchable database of over 6,000 hints—and 45,000 follow-up comments on those hints from enthusiastic readers.
