Application of the Statistical Methods
This section includes an example of how the statistical principles can be used in network management. It begins with some preliminary information about response times and simulation models that you need to understand for the example. If you already are familiar with these topics, you may wish to skip these sections. Response time was chosen as an example because it is an issue that interests most users.
