Performance Data for Frame Relay

You can gather Frame Relay performance information either through MIBs or through the command-line interface (CLI) via Telnet or RSH. We will look at both methods, including what the highlighted variables indicate, why they are useful, and how to manage the resulting factors. Where appropriate, we also will identify some starting point thresholds to set and watch for when monitoring performance. But please note that the threshold settings defined in this section reflect only a starting point and nothing more.
