All storage and handling of materials should be protected from addi-
tional moisture. All built-in materials should have a moisture content that
is below the critical one for adjacent materials. Moisture and dust should
not be built into the building. e building must be suciently dry and
clean to eliminate the risk of moisture damage and microbial growth in
the later stages.
6.5.7.4 Construction Waste Management
Many countries have regulations that govern how to handle construc-
tion waste. In Sweden, for example, the Work Environment Ordinance/
Avfallsförordningen (SFS 2001:1063) must be followed. Generated con-
