In complex projects, the contractor and site management regularly dis-
cover coordination deciencies in documents. e work requires quick xes
to avoid delays. If a consultant discovers a “minor” revision, the SM should
be informed. e SM determines whether the revision should be sent out
immediately or together with another revision. e construction manager
then determines whether to inform the contractor immediately or wait
until the next revision memo. e PM or a person designated by him or
her should be informed of any revisions even if they are just “clarications.”
Written conrmation of the submitted revisions must be obtained
from contractors.
