It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Pricing
Cloud Spanner charges for the number of nodes and the amount of storage and network bandwidth that's used. We will be charged for the following:
- For the maximum number of nodes that exist over an hour. This number is then charged by the hourly rate. These prices will fluctuate, depending on the location of our instances.
- The average amount of data in our tables over a one-month period. This is also multiplied by the monthly rate. These prices will fluctuate, depending on the location of our instances.
- Egress network traffic for some types of traffic. There is, however, no charge for replication or ingress traffic.
