It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exploring Storage Options in GCP - Part 2
In the first part of our storage exploration, we looked at several services. Now we will continue our focus on the remaining core options. In this chapter, we will look at the remaining topics/storage options:
- Cloud Spanner
- Bigtable
The concepts of these databases may sound familiar to the services we discussed in the previous chapter. For example, Cloud Spanner has similarities to Cloud SQL, while Bigtable may have you thinking about Cloud Datastore. In this chapter, we will not only look at the services but show you how they differ and why you may need to select these over the other offerings.
