I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Computing and hosting services
We are given a variety of options when it comes to computing in GCP. Depending on our requirements and flexibility, we can choose from one of the following four options, which we will be looking into in the upcoming sections:
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Google Compute Engine (GCE)
- Container as a Service (CaaS): Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Platform as a Service (PaaS): Google App Engine (GAE)
- Function as a Service (FaaS): Cloud Functions
