So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Importing and exporting data
Of course, the preceding example was based on a public dataset. BigQuery allows us to upload data from the console or Cloud Shell. Let's look at using the console to upload a CSV file we have locally. In this example, we'll assume we have a CSV already created called airports.csv:
- From our BigQuery dataset, we can click on CREATE TABLE, as shown in the following screenshot:
