I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding Virtual Private Cloud
The fundamental concept of the GCP network is VPC, which is also simply called a network. As you learned in Chapter 2, Getting Started with Google Cloud Platform, GCP can be divided into projects that logically isolate Google Cloud. Within a project, you can create multiple VPCs.
By default, up to five networks can be created per project (the quota can be extended by contacting support). Multiple VPCs make it possible to separate GCP resources such as VM, containers, and so on at a network level. VPC has a global scope and it can span through all GCP regions.
