It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Advanced filtering
An advanced logs filter is an expression that allows you to display logs based on the following constraints:
- Specific logs or log service entries
- Specific time period entries
- Conditions relating to metadata or user-defined field entries
- A specific percentage of all log entries
Advanced filters can be created from basic filters, or defined by the user from scratch:
The preceding example shows logs with a resource type of the GCE instance and a severity of INFO and higher.
