COMPONENTS OF A PROBLEM
To formulate the problem correctly one must know what a problem is and understand the nature of the problem. Various components of a problem which a person should know are briefly discussed below:
- Decision-maker: First, and most obvious, is the fact that someone or some group must have the problem. This individual or group is dissatisfied with some aspect of the state of affairs and consequently wants to make a decision with regard to altering it. This individual or group of person is referred to as the decision maker.
