So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Show/Hide Columns
Figure 5.9 shows the Show/Hide Columns drop-down menu. This useful feature is for getting the data grid into the order and appearance needed for the final output of the data. Use the View/Edit Query button to show the SQL used to create the current data grid. The Export Dataset button and report button will use the data and columns that appear in the data grid and in the order that they appear in the data grid. This feature is one way to remove unwanted columns from the output, no matter if the output is Export Data, Report Printing, and so on.
