Compare Databases
Sometimes you might need to compare and synchronize all your database-level objects (that is, those not owned by a schema, but rather required to build the database itself) between two different databases. For example, you might want to compare your test database to a production version to verify that both have the same basic foundation. Thus, you want the same tablespaces, roles, profiles, users, resource plans, resource consumer groups, and so on. In this situation, you want an easy way to compare and sync the database-level objects. Toad offers the Compare Databases screen for that purpose.
To launch the Compare Databases screen, choose Main Menu → Database → Compare → Databases. The screen shown in Figure 9.27 appears. ...
