Code Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are one of the features that make Toad so powerful and easy to use. Toad comes with a host of predefined shortcuts. These shortcuts save keystrokes and mouse actions and perform a variety of tasks such as issuing a “describe” on the current highlighted object, or find (find next, find previous, and so on). You can see whether there is a keyboard shortcut by reviewing menu bar items. The menu bar shows the Toad feature and whether it has a button and/or keyboard keystroke associated with it to activate the feature.
