So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Script Manager
Over time almost anybody doing serious Oracle work, DBAs and developers alike, will collect numerous SQL scripts. Moreover, there’s always those hard-core DBAs and developers who simply prefer SQL scripts to any GUI—period. Wouldn’t it be nice if Toad could help you create, organize, manage, and execute your collections of SQL scripts? And for those simply opposed to GUI tools like Toad, such a script library management interface might possibly pique their interest as well. Actually, Toad offers a handy feature to meet these users’ needs—it’s called the Script Manager.
To launch the Script Manager, choose Main Menu → Utilities → Script Manager. The screen shown in Figure 7.11 appears.
