I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Data Pump Export
Starting with Oracle 10g, Oracle has offered (and favored) the new Data Pump utility as a general and much-improved replacement for the Oracle Import and Export features. Thus the information in the previous section is probably of more benefit to those people who use Oracle 9i and earlier versions of this application. Nonetheless, you should read the prior section before proceeding with this section on exporting data via the Data Pump, because the Data Pump Export is so similar to the older Export utility that many of the same options, and therefore wizard navigation directions, will apply.
