The enterprise adoption of IoT devices continues at a rapid pace. Ten million new smart devices are added to the network every day, and IoT devices now outnumber employees four to one. As the number of IoT devices increases, so does the attack surface, which increases the opportunities for malicious actors.
Many factors increase the risk of IoT-connected devices, including legacy operating systems, authentication challenges, pre-existing vulnerabilities, and unsegmented networks.
