I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

While access and data protection are key, it’s important to recognize that good, old-fashioned management and upkeep of the network and equipment are critical areas of basic network security. Any aspect of the network that is not actively monitored and managed becomes a potential vulnerability. Attackers targeting an organization will attempt to achieve their objectives by any and all vectors, including (and preferably) the simple ones. After all, why bother knocking down a wall when they can crawl through an open window?
