User Segmentation
Segmenting users into groups is a necessary step when following the goals of the Zero Trust Architecture. The degree to which users are segmented will be based on the value of the company assets and the security posture needed to protect those assets. At a minimum, employees and guests should be on separate networks. Most enterprise networks will further segment users by department and create separate segments for real-time audio and video traffic with QoS.
