Modulation Techniques
Modulation is the process of converting digital information into frequencies that can be transmitted over a radio channel or carrier frequency. The carrier frequency is a constant high-frequency waveform that is used as a carrier for information. Transmitting information over a high-frequency radio wave provides broadcast efficiency over long distances. Common methods include encoding data into changes in amplitude, frequency, phase, or some combination, although there are many more.
