I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Mobile Malware Defense
Since malware and PUAs are not easily distinguishable, the standard advice to users is to run antimalware and antivirus software on their computers. So why aren’t these services standard on mobile devices?
The problem with antivirus and antimalware tools is that they have the same restrictions as any other application: they are restricted to their sandbox. Unfortunately, unless these services have privileged access, their usefulness is limited. Testing on some products found antivirus software for Android devices had a detection rate of less than 10%, and that versions for iOS and Windows Phone were merely placebos.
