Preface
After spending 24years as the founding editor- in- chief of a leading
international journal and also researching in the knowledge manage-
ment field, I feel it is time to “practice what I preach.” I wish to share
the lessons learned in journal editing with the next generation of aca-
demic and practitioner scholars who seek to overcome the “publish
or perish” phenomenon. I am honored to have some of the most
knowledgeable journal editors in the business and IT fields join me
in contributing their knowledge in the various facets of getting pub-
lished in selective, refereed international journals. It is a thrill for all
