I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Lesson C: Spatula and Spoon
- 1 Create a rectangle eight units wide, ten units high.
- 2 With the Direct Selection tool, select the two upper corners and set the corner widgets to 10 mm in the Properties panel.
- 3 Draw a line, 20 pt weight, six units high, and apply the rounded caps in the Stroke panel. Position the line two units over and two units down from the upper-left corner. Repeat the line two units over from the first line, then two units over again to form the opening slits.
- 4 Create a vertical line with the Line tool (\), 20 pt weight, 11 units high. Position the line at the base of the spatula head.
