I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
48. The Music Makers
People with musical skills are disproportionately represented, sometimes extremely so, in information technology organizations.
We admit that we don’t know what proportion of the population in modern society can play a musical instrument, so we are (pun intended) singing in the dark. However, we are convinced that we can see a pattern: There is an oddly large number of musicians in the information technology industry, and they seem to congregate pronouncedly within some organizations.
