I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Granting public READ for an object with canned ACLs from the CLI
We can upload an object and grant public read access using a canned ACL as follows:
- Download the image file using the admin user profile. On this occasion, downloading should be successful:
- Upload the same file as an administrator, providing the canned ACL for public-read:
aws s3 cp image-heartin-k.png s3://awsseccookbook/image-heartin-new.png \--acl public-read \--profile awssecadmin
